DESCRIPTION:
Jalebi (Jelibe) most famous sweet in south Asia during Ramadhan and Divali. Tastier when it is served hot.
INGREDIENTS:
- 100 gm Curds
- 100 gm maida
- 30 gm corn flour
- 1 tbsp hot oil
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup water
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Beat curds add maida , corn flour and hot oil ,mix well to form batter and leave it for 24 hrs
- After 24 hrs again beat the batter with hands and fill it in sauce bottle with nozzle /plastic cover , make hole at the tip.
- Boil water and sugar to form one string consistency
- Heat a oil in kadai make spirals with the help of cover or sauce bottle ,and fry 1 or 2 min
- Transfer fried jalibe’s to hot syrup leave it for 2 min and take off
- Serve hot jalibe’s with rabdi
- For Instant jalibe : ½ cup maida, 1 tsp Corn flour, ½ tsp Fruit salt, 1 tsp yogurt, ¼ tsp Vinegar/lemon juice 5 tbsp water
