Carry1st partners with Electronic Arts for Expansion in Africa

Carry1st, Africa’s premier game publisher company, has officially entered a partnership with Electronic Arts in an effort to fuel expansion within FC Mobile in the Africa market and region and is offering players something special until March 17th.

According to PocketGamer, Electronic Arts will give EA Sports FC Mobile players in the region a new way to recharge their FC Points by purchasing Silver in their local currency using their preferred payment method, and are hoping this will draw in more of the vast gamer market in Africa.

Africa’s e-payments market is projected to reach $40 billion by 2025 according to McKinsey so this is a prime move to try to capitalize on a booming market.

“Adding EA as another Pay1st partner, alongside Activision and Supercell, reaffirms our belief that top-tier publishers are focusing more on growing revenue and player base on the African continent” pencer Ma, growth lead at Carry1st said in an official statement.

Carry1st’s high ranking performers on their shop include Call of Duty: Mobile, PUBG Mobile, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars and many more.

Additionally, Carry1st is offering FC Mobile players limited-time bonuses on FC Points and Silver through the Carry1st Shop until March 17th and is also running a campaign, entitled Project Golazo, throughout the month of March, which will feature collaborations with ”some of the continent’s biggest football personalities and offer competitions for players to win prizes.”
