DESCRIPTION:
Cauliflower belongs to species Brassica oleracea. It is bunch of flowers on meristem, so do not over cook this vegetable. The main health benifits of cauliflower are : It is used in regular diet to prevent cancer It is a anti oxident Anti-inflammatory It solves cardivascular and degestive problems So today we will see the simple recipe of cauliflower.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 big cauliflower
- 2 chopped onions
- 1/4 cup corn flour
- 1/4 cup maida/all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp pepper powder or as per your taste
- 2 tsp garlic+ginger+chilli paste
- 7 chopped curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil to fry
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Wash and cut into florets. Boil with turmeric and salt for 5 min.
- Mix 1/2 cup water ,salt,all purpose flour and corn flour to make fine paste .Drain florets ,dip in paste and deep fry them.
- Heat a oil in kadai add onion,curry leaves garlic+ginger+chilli paste .saute for 5-6 min.
- Now add 1 tbsp water, fried florets and sprinkle pepper powder saute for few sec.
- Turn off. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
