TRAGIC Big Brother star Nikki Grahame’s death at the age of just 38 left her friends, family and fans devastated, including her BB7 co-stars with whom she rose to fame back in 2006.

Sadly, in the fifteen years that passed since they starred in the seventh series of Big Brother, Nikki had continued to struggle with the eating disorder that plagued her life from the age of seven, and she had recently checked into hospital.

Her death on Friday was a tragic end for a popular and endearing TV personality, whose mum Sue explained had been suffering from terminal loneliness, saying: “She felt very cut off and spending too much time on her own with not enough to think about other than food.”

As we take a look at the touching tributes they’ve paid to their popular co-star, here’s where the cast of Big Brother 2006 are now, 15 years since their reality TV stint…

Pete Bennett

Nikki’s ex-boyfriend Pete Bennett, who went on to win the series and scoop the £100k prize in 2006, recently broke down in tears during a heartbreaking video to the late star.

Pete won Big Brother back in 2006, and since then has become an actor

The pair had shared a brief, touching relationship on the show and had always remained close, with Pete, who has Tourettes, visiting her in recent weeks.

Pete has battled his own demons in the past, suffering a drug addiction after tragically losing a number of close friends, and at one point the star was left homeless.

He then went on to set up his own cleaning company, and was able to turn his life around.

Now, he’s an actor, starring in Amazon series Green Fingers.

Glyn Wise

Glyn Wise was just 18 when he entered the Big brother house wearing a Baywatch-style lifeguard outfit, and infamously boiled his first egg while on the show.

Glyn was just 18 when he starred on Big Brother, and has dramatically transformed in the 15 years since

The welshman, who finished second, recently shared a photo of himself aged 33, saying: “I know that a lot of people still think of me as an 18-year old that was on #bbuk but I’m actually 33 today! Thanks for the Birthday wishes x Diolch x.”

Glyn has since dabbled in politics, running in an election for Plaid Cymru, athletics and teaching in recent years.

Since Nikki’s tragic death he has called for a documentary to be made about her life, adding: “I will always remember your laughter, your smile, your tantrums and bluntness. But more than anything I’ll remember your zest for life. I love you always Nikki.”

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace

Eventual third-placed Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace was known after her upfront and straight-talking attitude on Big Brother back in 2006, and has since transformed herself into a multi-millionaire.

Aisleyne has become a multi-millionaire, with an impressive property portfolio

The star was clearly shocked at the news of Nikki’s passing, sharing an image of the pair together with the simple caption: “I can’t breath [sic]”.

Her first paid job after the show was a photoshoot with lads mag Nuts, which made her a “life-changing” amount of money.

“I put the money straight into property. I didn’t buy one pair of shoes, one handbag, I didn’t spoil myself,” she said.

As well as acquiring a multi-million-pound property portfolio, Aisleyne has also appeared on a string of reality shows, including Celebrity Botched Bodies, Judge Rinder, The Gadget Show, Celebrity Coach Trip and Stars at Work.

She released her own autobiography in 2008, launched her own clothing line, and has her own fitness app – Aisleyne’s 7 Minute Workout.

 Richard Newman

Richard struck up a close friendship with housemate Lea, and the pair went on to host their own radio show

Richard Newman managed to survive eviction six times while in the house, and struck up a close friendship with fellow housemate Lea Walker.

He went on to present a show with her on Gaydar radio for two years after Big Brother, interviewing the likes of Gail Porter, Alan Carr and Kim Wilde.

He reportedly also dabbled in writing, taking on work as a travel and lifestyle journalist and writing for a variety of publications.

Posting on Twitter shortly after Nikki’s death, Richard wrote: “I’m still trying to process the passing of Nikki Grahame. The outpouring of [love] for her has been overwhelming.

“We created something magical back in 2006. Those Big Brother moments shall forever remain with me. RIP Princess.”

Imogen Thomas

In a touching tribute, Imogen Thomas described how she was “broken” over the loss of “best friend” Nikki.

Model Imogen’s first brush with fame was winning the title of Miss Wales, before Big Brother made her a household name.

Former Miss Wales Imogen now has two children

She later went on to present on T4 and in 2015 she launched her own swimwear brand.

In 2011 it was revealed the model had a six-month affair with Manchester United footballer Ryan Giggs, and Imogen then went on to have two daughters, Ariana and Siera, with Adam Horsley.

Now the star lives in a swanky West London mansion.

Suzie Verrico

Nikki Grahame fans will remember the starlet for many things, including her infamous catchphrase, “Who is she?”

Suzie was the reason for Nikki’s infamous “who is she?!” rant

The tragic star uttered the iconic words in the diary room about her fellow housemate Suzie Verrico, after Suzie arrived a few weeks after everybody else on a ‘golden ticket’.

While she hasn’t encountered mega fame since the show, Suzie certainly lives a very comfortable life.

Pre-lockdown Suzie and her husband enjoyed travelling and staying in luxury hotels like the Ritz, sailing on yachts and driving in limousines.

Grace and Mikey

Proving any doubters wrong about reality TV romances, Mikey Dalton and Grace Adams-Short got together on the show – and have been together ever since.

Incredibly, and against all odds, Grace and Mikey are happily married with three kids

Posting on Instagram in tribute to Nikki, Grace poignantly wrote: “I don’t really know what words to say.

“You had an amazing presence and your laughter was infectious to be around. I will always remember the good times we shared together…

“I hope you are no longer in pain and you will always be remembered and so greatly missed.”

The pair are still together after marrying in 2009 and now have three children – Georgiana, Spencer and Allegra.

Not only did they find true love, but the show enabled the pair to buy multiple properties and enjoy travelling the world.

While Mikey heads up his own advertising company, Grace set up Studio 76 Performing arts college in Liverpool and recently sold the company for millions.

While life has gone in different directions for each of the former Big Brother housemates, the one thing they will all have in common is their sadness over Nikki’s tragic death.
