Tyson Fury ‘agrees to fight Dereck Chisora for third time after talks on phone’

The Gypsy King owns two wins over his domestic rival, but wants to close out his career with a third bout.

Speaking to Behind The Gloves, Chisora, 35, revealed Fury, 30, is willing to complete the trilogy – despite the score at 2-0.

He said: “Everytime I see him I always say ‘You owe me a fight’ and he goes ‘I owe you one as well’. It’s going to happen.

“He called me once and said ‘I wanna fight’ I said cool let’s do it, made Frank Warren do it and then the second fight and now I want the fight again.

“Let’s do it.”

Fury gave Chisora his first career loss in 2011 after outpointing the Londoner.

The Gypsy King then scored a stoppage victory in the rematch three years later seducing his rival to a masterclass in the capital.

Chisora faces southpaw Artur Szpilka on Saturday night, and like Fury, “Del Boy” is friendly with his Polish opponent.

The Finchley slugger and the former football hooligan became friends back in 2004, sharing the silver screen when they starred in the 2018 gangster film Pitbull.

Chisora said: “I knew Szpilka from around 2004, after he had stopped being a football hooligan and I was over in Poland for business.

“We did some filming together for about 10 minutes and hung out afterwards, he is a cool guy.

“I watched him against Wilder, he was tired when he got KO’ed. I thought he was dead, he was not moving.”
