Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid?
Real Madrid are lining up Jose Mourinho to replace Zinedine Zidane.
According to Goal, Zidane’s lacklustre start to the season and dismal Champions League performances have seen him lose the confidence of certain board members at the Bernabeu.
It’s suggested the French boss is now in ‘must-win territory’ and the club are drawing up a list of potential successors.
Mourinho is one of those candidates having spent three successful seasons in Madrid and is available having been sacked by Manchester United in December 2018.
Kylian Mbappe priority
Real Madrid have their sights set on signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
The 20-year-old French World Cup winner has an incredible record for PSG, netting 63 goals and providing 35 assists in 94 appearances.
He’s considered the most valuable young talent on the planet at £180million and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is solely focused on bringing him to the Bernabeu.
Spanish newspaper AS claim Perez isn’t interested in signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United and would only sign him to keep under-pressure Zinedine Zidane happy.
Instead, Perez wants everything geared towards signing Mbappe next summer.
Jadon Sancho pursuit
Manchester United have unwanted company in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils are understood to be eager to land the England international, who is reportedly worth upwards of £100million.
However, Spanish publication Eldesmarque claim Real Madrid are also eager to sign the teenager.
It’s said the Spanish giants are deeply underwhelmed by the performances of summer arrivals of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.
Wanted: Amine Harit
Barcelona are monitoring Schalke star Amine Harit.
The Catalan giants are in the market for a midfielder and have identified Harit as a potential January signing.
The 22-year-old has scored four goals and provided four assists in nine appearances in all competitions for Schalke this season.
And Barcelona chiefs are keeping a close eye on the seven-capped Morocco international.
