Real Madrid convinced Paul Pogba will snub Juventus transfer interest and join for £150m from Man Utd
REAL MADRID believe Paul Pogba will snub Juventus in a £150million mega move.
Bernabeu chiefs are reportedly convinced the unsettled Manchester United midfielder wants to play for fellow Frenchman Zinedine Zidane.
Real are looking to offload ex-Spurs frontman Gareth Bale, 29, and Colombian playmaker James Rodriguez, 27, to help pay for the 26-year-old.
The Mail say Real think boss Zidane is the trump card in their bid to stop Pogba returning to Serie A champs Juve, where the midfielder enjoyed his four best years in club football.
United ordered the 2018 World Cup winner to fly out for their pre-season tour of Australia yesterday.
But at the same time Juventus were lining up a £120m offer, according to The Times.
Old Trafford chief Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still thought keen to retain Pogba amid a summer revamp.
But Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has been working hard to clinch an exit for a player who returned to United from Juve for £89m in August 2016.
Raiola even went public last Friday to insist Pogba wants out.
Real, though, would have to spend big to lure Pogba as his £290,000-a-week contract still has two years left.
The Spanish giants hope to raise around £40m by selling Rodriguez, with Napoli the frontrunners.

But Real have become increasingly frustrated in their efforts to sell Bale.
The Welshman knows he is unwanted by Zidane, but has dug his heels in over an exit.
And interest from United, as well as Tottenham, seems to have cooled.
