Princess Eugenie, who wed Jack Brooksbank last October, posted a picture of a proud Prince Andrew embracing the bride on her big day. The picture was taken in St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, and Mr Brooksbank can be seen in the background. Accompanying the photo, Eugenie wrote: “Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and of course to my Pups. Thank you for many years of happiness and for this special moment on 12th October 2018.”
Prince William and Kate also posted a sweet moment between Prince Louis and the Duke of Cambridge as well as a touching picture with Prince Charles.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s post read: “Happy Father’s Day!”
Prince Charles celebrated “Dads everywhere” with a candid shot with his two sons William and Harry sharing a laugh.
The Royal Family’s official social media accounts shared a split picture of Prince Philip with his eldest children Prince Charles and Princess Anne in 1952 and another image with the Duke of Edinburgh with Prince Andrew and Prince Edward in 1972.
The Princess said after the wedding: “I believe scars are like memories that tell a story on your body, that remind you how strong you had to be, and that you survived to talk about it.
“We realised that the back of the dress was the centre point and a veil would take away from the scar and the beautiful design they had created.”
Eugenie, who is tenth in line for the throne, underwent gruelling surgery at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at aged 12.
On the hospital’s website, Eugenie detailed how “surgeons inserted eight-inch titanium rods into each side of my spine and one-and-a-half inch screws at the top of my neck”.
