A PREGNANT woman has asked for advice after revealing her ex’s new partner is “treating her like a surrogate” and wants her twins
A PREGNANT woman has asked for advice after revealing her ex’s new partner is “treating her like a surrogate” and wants her twins to call her “Mama”.
Posting on Reddit, the 29-year-old mum-to-be explained she got pregnant by a 30-year-old she “dated for three months before he left me to go back to his ex”.

After realising she was expecting, the anonymous mum reached out to the dad, “who was ecstatic”.
“Turns out his girlfriend had fertility issues and would likely never be able to get pregnant naturally and he has always wanted to be a father,” she said.
But his current girlfriend wasn’t so thrilled, and asked to meet with the mum-to-be.
She said: “I met them at their house and (his current girlfriend) stated that she wanted to be involved in my pregnancy because she would eventually be the children’s stepmother.
“She started telling me that I needed to do a home birth, that I needed to formula feed so that they could have the babies half of the week, that she wanted one boy and one girl, and that she wanted the kid to call her Mama since they would be calling me Mommy.
“I shut her down and said I would make the best choices for my children and my body and left.”
Now 24 weeks pregnant, she went on: “(His current girlfriend) continued to be overbearing and texting me everyday about my eating habits, exercise habits, and b****ing about how her job wouldn’t let her take maternity leave.”
And things soon became even more concerning, when her ex came to the 20-week scan and found out the twins’ genders.
The mum-to-be added: “I wanted to keep it a surprise for me so we could throw a gender reveal party.
“I put a pregnancy announcement on my social media and then (his current girlfriend) put up an announcement saying they were expecting twins ‘the non-traditional way’ and how blessed she was.
“I was irritated but I kept my mouth shut. Then she threw a gender reveal party and posted it on social media. I wasn’t even invited.
“She also announced that she’s having a baby shower. I commented on her posts and told her to stop treating me like a surrogate, that the kids weren’t hers, and that (my ex) didn’t have any claim or custody of the kids until they are born.
“I then called (my ex) and reiterated all of this and stated that I would not be seeing either of them until we went to family court and that my mother would be my birthing partner.
“He and (his current partner) and some of her friends and family are saying I’m an a**hole and her mother even called and insisted I give her one of my babies like this is the Parent Trap?”
The step-mum’s mother even suggested the pregnant woman ‘give her one of my baby like it’s the Parent Trap’[/caption]
People were seriously disturbed by the story, advising the mum to “get a lawyer now, keep records of everything, block phone numbers and file a police report for harassment if yo have to”.
One woman said: “If ex and new GF aren’t married, I say get a restraining order for OP and the twins against GF asap.
“If the dad wants his share of custody, doesn’t look like he’s done anything the courts would consider inappropriate, but GF is too far out of line to reason or interact with.
“Time to send her a message she has no claim here.
“P.S. I hope ex and new GF didn’t deliberately plan to seduce and trick someone into being an unwitting surrogate…”
Another wrote: “Get a lawyer NOW. This is not just her boundary stomping she’s delusional and potentially a danger to the babies.
“STOP including her, him and her family in ANYTHING. Lock down your social media, stop giving updates, stop ‘co-parenting’.
“You’re not married, he has zero legal rights to these babies until the court says so.
“Document EVERYTHING you possibly can, dates, times, who called and asked for custody, her party all of it.
“You’re going to need all of that info in court. Any further issues, call the cops and file for a restraining order.
