Monster couple hacked man and teen girl to pieces before dissolving bodies in ACID after wrongly thinking the bloke had abused a child
A MONSTER couple hacked a man and teen girl to death before dissolving their bodies in a vat of acid over a case of mistaken identity.
Tiffanie Rae Pierce, 24, and Augustus Standingrock, 27, murdered Jackson Wiles, 24, and Marilyn Pickett, 15, in August 2017.
The pair burst into the home in Missoula, Montana where the victims were staying and unleashed their gruesome attack.
Standingrock is said to have slashed Wiles to death, before Pierce murdered Pickett.
The victim’s bodies were hacked to pieces and thrown into a vat of acid to dispose of their corpses, KGVO reported.
A neighbour who heard Pickett and Wiles’ screaming called police and when officers arrived they found the victims’ partially-dissolved remains in a basement.
Pierce and Standingrock are said to have attacked the pair because they believed Wiles had sexually abused a young girl they knew.
Their crimes are some of the most disturbing to have ever been committed in their home state.
They accepted a plea agreement to avoid trial.
‘I’M SO SORRY’
Peirce and Standingrock were sentenced to two life terms in the Montana State Prison.
During sentencing they appeared remorseful as Pierce openly wept in court.
Standingrock said: “I apologise, there’s nothing I can say or do to bring anything back.
Peirce said: “To the victims and their families and friends. I would like to offer my deepest and most sincere apologies and condolences.
“I would also like to apologise to my family and friends, not only for the shame and embarrassment and shock that I have caused, but also for the burden that I have become.
She added: “It was never my intention to cause anyone’s death.
“Especially someone so young and beautiful and with as much potential as Marilyn. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t wish I could trade places with her.”
