Love Island viewers think Curtis Pritchard and Amy are doing everything they can to get on Strictly Come Dancing

LOVE Island fans believe that Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart are doing everything they can to get on Strictly Come Dancing.

The pair’s outfits came under fire in last night’s episode of the show, with Amy, 26, dressing in a red, salsa-inspired outfit.

The air stewardess’ get-up appeared to be inspired by the classic flamenco dress costume, with 23-year-old Curtis‘ linen trousers and leather jacket also coming under fire.

Taking to Twitter, some fans accused Amy of dressing as though she was about to do the Paso Doble on Strictly, with Curtis’ brother AJ a professional dancer on the BBC One dance show.

They wrote: “Has Curtis dressed Amy up like it’s Paso Double week or what?”

Another quipped: “Are Amy and Curtis the only ones who got the memo about fancy dress this evening?”

A third tweeted: “We have all made bad outfit choices but Curtis is taking the biscuit tonight.”

Like his brother, Curtis is also a ballroom dancer and was one of the pros on the Irish version of Strictly, Dancing with the Stars.

He previously told The Sun Online that he is vying for a spot on Strictly after appearing on the ITV2 dating show.

He said: “Joining Strictly is an opportunity that I would never turn down.”

Discussing AJ, Curtis continued: “AJ is super excited for me joining Love Island, literally over the moon for me.

“As a family we are supportive whatever we do, my parents were supportive of me and want the best for me and want me to do great in it.”

Curtis has also been compared to a psychiatrist on the show

In addition to his dancing credentials, viewers have picked up on Curtis’ counselling skills – with some fans convinced that he is actually an undercover psychiatrist that show bosses have put in place to protect the cast.

Over the past few episodes, fans have watched as Curtis has dished out advice to all of his fellow Islanders, regularly being a shoulder for them to lean on.

However, he peaked last night when he cut off an almighty fight between Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, storming into the bedroom and demanding they stopped bickering – with both stars immediately obliging.
