LORRAINE Kelly downed a shot as she went to a London beer garden with her daughter today – as pubs reopened in England.

The breakfast TV host celebrated boozers opening south of the border for the first time since lockdown as she enjoyed drinks with family.

Her daughter Rosie posted a clip of her mum bravely trying a shot as they spent a boozy afternoon together.

Lorraine could be seen scrunching up her face in the video – before proclaiming “oh my” as she finished her drink.

The Scots TV presenter also posted a snap from the Horse and Groom pub in London – calling it a “cracking place”.

Followers in Scotland were left jealous as Lorraine enjoyed her day out – with pubs north of the border still shut until April 26.

One social media user wrote: “So jealous! Still confined to garden drinking.”

Another wrote: “Still all shut here! Have a large one on me.”

And one person said: “I’m stuck up in Scotland, have one for me.”

Lorraine is currently taking a holiday from her usual morning ITV show, which is instead being hosted by GMB’s Ranvir Singh.

She was replaced by TV presenter Cat Deeley during the first week of her Easter absence.

Lorraine always takes the school holidays off, and is away from her show at Christmas, Easter and over the summer.

But fans will be able to see her back on their TV screens from next Monday morning once her break comes to an end.

Industry chiefs in Scotland warned some punters may “jump the border” for a pint over the next fortnight before beer gardens open here again.
