KEVIN OWENS has reportedly told WWE he does not want to be part of their upcoming Saudi Arabia pay-per-view.

Earlier this month the company confirmed Super Show-Down will take place on Friday 7 June at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.

A stunning line-up has already been announced for the third Middle East event with legends Goldberg and Undertaker doing battle in the main event.

However Fightful claim “The Prize Fighter” is following the lead of John Cena and Daniel Bryan by refusing to go.

Their respected website says the specific reason behind his decision has not been confirmed.

But his best friend and fellow WWE superstar Sami Zayn has missed the company’s previous visits to Saudi due to the country’s strained relationships with Syria.

Vince McMahon and his fellow wrestling chiefs were fiercely criticised ahead of their last visit to Saudi.

November’s Crown Jewel event came under-pressure to scrapped after the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi, purportedly by Saudi officials.

Both Cena and Bryan decided not to travel for the event.

Owens did compete at last year’s Greatest Royal Rumble event in April, but was injured for Crown Jewel.

“KO” failed in his attempt to take the WWE Title from Kofi Kingston at Sunday’s Money in the Bank.

And he now appears to be out of the championship picture following his decision to sit out the Saudi trip.

Dolph Ziggler returned to SmackDown last night and attacked Kingston, suggesting “The Show Off” will be the man to face the champ at Super Show-Down.
