Jake Paul has offered Conor McGregor $50million (£45m) to fight him in a boxing exhibition match following a foul-mouthed tirade on social media. The YouTuber knocked out former NBA star Nate Robinson in his second professional fight on the undercard of Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr’s clash in Los Angeles.
Now he is hoping to boost his profile in the sport by challenging McGregor, who remains eager to make the crossover from UFC once again to win a world title.
Paul said on Twitter: “My team sent you a $50 million offer this morning – $50 million cash, proof of funds – the biggest offer you’ve ever been offered.
“But you’re still scared to fight me, Conor. You’re ducking me ‘cause you don’t want to lose to a YouTuber. You’re 0-1 as a boxer.
“I’m 2-0 as a boxer. I just came off the eighth biggest pay-per-view event in history, but you want to fight Dustin ‘Prober’ who has less followers on Instagram than my dog – that’s a fact.”

His brother Jake is yet to lose after winning both of his fights so far against YouTuber AnEsonGib and last month’s opponent Robinson.
UFC president Dana White has already made it clear that McGregor will not be taking part in fights with YouTubers.
“[Conor McGregor] is one of the greatest fighters on Earth right now. He shouldn’t be fighting kids that have f**king YouTube videos,” White said last week.
Before adding: “There’s a market for these kinda fights. It’s just not what I do.
“There will be a day when Conor McGregor could do these types of fights and make a bunch of money.”
Paul has now hit back at White, during his expletive-laden rant.
He said: “And Dana White, you’re a f****** p**** too. You ugly, f******, bald b****.
“You said there’s a zero percent chance of this fight happening, but there’s a zero percent chance of you getting some p****.
“Conor, you’re scared. Dana, you’re scared. Sign the f****** contract you idiots. Jesus f****** Christ. Irish b****.”
