Coronation Street spoilers: Carla Connor given anti-psychotic drugs after admitting she believes Aidan and Rana are still alive
CARLA Connor makes a return to Coronation Street next week, but it’s not a happy homecoming for the troubled factory boss.
Roy Cropper arrives back on the cobbles from his trip to Portsmouth and is alarmed by the ‘missing’ posters of Carla.
The Connors quickly fill him in on what’s happened and he and Johnny dash off to the hotel where Carla – who’s played by Alison King in the ITV soap – was last seen.
But when they arrive, they’re horrified at the state her room has been left in and also discover that – wherever she has fled to now – she doesn’t have her kidney medication with her.
Knowing it’s now a race against time Roy – David Neilson – vows to find her and tells Johnny he will never forgive himself for throwing her out. Unknown to them, Carla is listening from the shadows and – when Roy gets back to his flat – Carla is waiting there for him.
He’s shocked at the state of her and even more worried when she starts telling him that everyone is out to get her and that she knows Kate is hiding Rana while telling everyone she’s dead.

When she starts asking after her brother Aidan – who took his own life last year – Roy realises something has to be done. Even though Carla refuses to go to hospital, Roy makes a call anyway.
Later Carla is terrified when she wakes up in hospital with Johnny and Roy at her bedside. She’s soon asking to see Peter Barlow but, when Roy mentions it to Peter’s dad Ken, he’s adamant that nothing should come in the way of Peter’s own recovery.
She’s sent home with anti-psychotic drugs and Peter – Chris Gascoyne -vows to look after her at any cost. When Ken refuses to let Carla move into No.1, the couple move in with Roy instead.
Is Peter up to the job?
