LOVE Island star Chris Hughes has revealed he and Jesy Nelson are officially in a relationship – and says it’s the happiest he’s ever been.
Chris confessed to being smitten with the Little Mix singer as he was grilled about their new romance in a prerecorded interview for the Kiss FM breakfast show.
The Sun revealed Chris and Jesy were dating in January before they were spotted passionately kissing in a South London kebab shop.
And now after also going on a romantic trip away together to Ireland Chris has confirmed they’re girlfriend and boyfriend.
A source added: “Chris is really taken by Jesy – they can’t get enough of each other which is why they’ve been so open with their fans about being together.
“There was no hesitation from Chris to say during his interview with Kiss that it’s the real deal between them and he hopes to be with Jesy for a long time.”
Chris rose to fame on Love Island in 2017 where he met and fell for co-star Olivia Attwood.
The pair had a tempestuous relationship which ended with their split being filmed for spin-off Chris & Olivia: Crackin’ On.
Olivia has since moved on with footballer Bradley Dack, who she dated prior to Chris and her time on the dating show.
Chris admitting to being the happiest he’s ever been with Jesy may be viewed as one last slur towards Olivia, as their romance was plagued with explosive rows.
