Bobby Davro’s name has been graffitied across a city in a possible copycat of bizarre Les Dennis tagging
BOBBY Davro’s name has been daubed across a city — in a possible copycat of the bizarre Les Dennis tagging last year.
The 59-year-old entertainer’s moniker popped up as graffiti in three places in a five-mile radius.

John Green, 36, who spotted them, said: “Maybe it’s a new artist who gets kicks out of popularising obscure celebrities.
“Or maybe Bobby and Les have got together to give each other a career boost.”
Comedian Bobby’s name was sprayed around Stoke-on-Trent, 250 miles from where he grew up in Ashford, Middlesex.
Graphic designer John said: “I saw one in an underpass and thought it was quite funny.
“Then when I spotted another a couple of miles away on a massive billboard, I thought of Les Dennis.
“Then a couple of days later I saw a third one in a tunnel. It’s definitely one person.
“I don’t know if it’s the same as the Les Dennis one, though. It’s given me a good chuckle. I think this could be the new Banksy.”
Family Fortunes host Les, 65, had his name sprayed across Norwich last November — and said on Twitter: “It wasn’t me.”

Stoke councillor Anthony Munday said: “Bobby Davro’s telly antics have brought fun to families for generations.
And that’s where he belongs — on the TV, not scrawled across our lovely city.”
