ALEX Beresford has returned to social media for the first time since he was forced to quit over racist abuse.
Good Morning Britain’s stand-in weatherman has been at the centre of a media storm since his on-air clash with Piers Morgan.

But he ignored Piers’ latest comments, accusing him of launching a “premeditated attack” on the host’s last day at GMB.
Instead, after taking a week off of Twitter, Alex broke his silence to pay tribute to the teenager Richard Okorogheye.
He wrote: “Richard Okorogheye’s body has sadly been identified. RIP!”

Weatherman Alex, 40, sensationally clashed with Piers, 55, over his comments about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
It led presenter Piers to storm off set – and he’s since spoken out about Alex’s moment in the spotlight.
The 55-year-old singled out Piers for being his only co-star not to contact him since he quit the show.
Writing in the Mail on Sunday, Piers said: “I’ve had nice messages from all the other GMB presenters, apart from Alex Beresford, and many of the wonderful production team, from camera operators and producers to make-up artists.

“Some really moved me.”
Then this week during an hour-long interview with US television host Tucker Carlson on FOX Nation, Piers went into further detail about what happened between him and Alex.
Piers explained: “He is the stand-in weather guy, he’s not a journalist, he’s someone I’ve helped in his career like he has asked me to.
“He sent me a private message in which he expressed some concern about what he felt I wasn’t really understanding about where Meghan Markle was coming from as a bi-racial woman.
“He is himself a bi-racial man so he wanted to explain so I said come on air, let’s have the conversation.
“But the moment he came on air, he came with a pretty premeditated attack on me on a pretty personal level and frankly I just wasn’t going to have it.
“I walked off… I was quite angry in the moment, he claimed that I have a personal vendetta against Meghan Markle, which I don’t.”
Alex last week told how he was “subjected to relentless racism” on social media in the aftermath of his argument with Piers.

Writing for The Telegraph, he said: “I haven’t announced it (like the former Arsenal player Thierry Henry did this week when he publicly quit social media, in response to anonymous racist bullying) but I have been forced to step away from Twitter and Facebook myself, because it was getting too much.
