Aldi has recently extended its popular Click & Collect service to more than 200 stores in the UK. Those using the contactless grocery service can order Easter food items from today.
This comes a week before the items hit the supermarket shelves, giving online shoppers exclusive early access.
Aldi’s Easter range includes meats, sides and desserts to put together a mouth-watering Easter lunch.
It has also released a range of exclusive hot cross buns and Easter eggs, including a caramel chocolate beehive egg and duo chocolate eggs.
Click & Collect was initially trialled last September in one store in the midlands.
Following the success of the service, it was rolled out to a total of 18 branches in November 2020.
This year, it has been introduced in hundreds of stores across the UK.
How does it work?
Click & Collect allows customers to pick up groceries without leaving their cars.
The groceries are packed by colleagues and delivered to cars contact-free.
All slots come with a charge of £4.99 and there is no minimum spend required to make a purchase.
Speaking of the service, Chief Executive Officer at Aldi UK and Ireland Giles Hurley said: “We know that more and more people want to buy high-quality food at unbeatable Aldi prices – particularly at the moment – and this trial has been hugely popular so far.
“By extending it to hundreds of new stores, we’re making Aldi accessible to thousands of shoppers who might never have visited one of our stores before.”
